This year, the Center for Public and Nonprofit Management in the School of Public Administration at UCF is launching a new initiative to make the research and scholarship of our faculty more accessible to our local community stakeholders and partners. The instrument: a one page “research brief” that states key research findings and, importantly, offers up to three recommendations for practice. Readers are provided reference information for the author’s full length article, as well as contact information to the Center should they wish to consult the author on the subject, or request the author to speak at a meeting or event.
The first four briefs are officially released.
- First Rule for Social Media: Do No Harm by Dr. Thomas Bryer
- It Pays to Play the Game of Smart Growth by Dr. Chris Hawkins
- The Political and Economic Implications of Private Prisons by Dr. Brandi Blessett
- Fiscal Decentralization and Health Care by Dr. Rui Sun
